Last Day of Summer is a compilation of random moments filmed in Hampstead Heath, a public space, without people being aware. By capturing someone in a particular situation, Alicia Felberbaum uses editing to enable her to entirely manipulate the context and create a new narrative.

Only after viewing the rushes was the narrative  created unravelling a story within the footage. This short movie is part of a collection of works produced by the artist using this specific technique,

Film in Hampstead Heath, a public space. Michel Foucault, the French thinker, writes that privacy is a key problem of modern life. We can look in Facebook and learn about people’s social life, or Google them and discover where they work. Privacy may be already over.
